Our promise to you is that we will do everything in our power to keep you running whilst we help you defeat your pain. We also have expertise in helping people manage and return from bone stress reactions and fractures.

Sports injuries can occur due to a variety of reasons, including overuse, inappropriate programming, lack of preparation and injury risk reduction programs and accidents during games or practices. These injuries can affect different parts of the body such as muscles, tendons, ligaments, cartilage and bones, depending on the specific strain and demands placed on the body during sports activities. We don’t just provide short term pain relief, we help you fully rehabilitate your injury and ensure that we test and address any areas of your body that are deficient so that you can return to your sport and perform at a higher level and reduce the chances of subsequent injuries, an area that is traditionally done poorly by normal health physiotherapists. We also offer injury prevention strategies and education, to help athletes reduce chances of serious injuries such as our ACL injury prevention program. Whether it's a sprained ankle, knee pain, or a muscle strain, Be Strong Physio is committed to providing effective and comprehensive sports injury rehabilitation to help individuals get back to their game stronger and perform better than before they got injured. What to Expect in Your Consult

When you visit our Caloundra physiotherapy practice, you can expect a comprehensive consultation that focuses on understanding your pain and medical history. As a highly trained and internationally regarded professional in the field, our head Physiotherapist and Strength and Conditioning coach Geoff Ford will take a holistic approach to your treatment and always strives to not only provide pain relief, but work with you to address the factors that are leading to your pain and ensure you are confident with your health and fitness without having to rely on others to keep giving you treatments into the future.

As primary care providers, you don't need a doctor’s referral to see a physiotherapist. We welcome anyone seeking to improve their well-being and move well. If you have private health insurance, we have a HICAPS terminal that allows for on-the-spot claiming from your health fund.

During your consultation, our physiotherapist Geoff will conduct a hands-on assessment to gain a comprehensive understanding of your pain and medical history. This will be followed by a physical examination to not only identify the injured tissues or areas that the pain is being experienced, but also identify what the contributing factors are that are leading to your experience of pain, rather than just addressing the symptoms.

Once the assessment is complete, physiotherapist Geoff will work with you to create a personalised plan to help you achieve your desired outcomes. This plan may include strategies to alleviate your pain and techniques to strengthen your body, reducing the likelihood of the pain returning in the future.
